Cameras and video analytics

Put video to work on a defined task at a production site or commercial property.

Site visibility, production tracking and event review using video.
Demonstration material

Combining cameras for a site overview and automatically counting objects are different tasks. We define the scenario, assess site footage and agree the required result. Our video analytics work uses KUZET, with QOIMA responsible for the agreed deployment and connection work.

01

A tested scenario and defined video requirements for your site.

02

Camera views or counting and event results in an agreed interface.

03

Result-checking procedures and actions for the responsible staff member.

Scope of work

01 /

Site camera overview

Check available cameras and connection options. Define which areas and video streams staff need to see when reviewing the site.

02 /

Counting and events

Define what to count or record for the selected scenario. Account for angle, lighting, occlusion, missed objects and repeated events.

03 /

Validation and use

Compare results with a manual review of agreed footage. Define the interface, staff access and the process for using the results.

From a task to a working solution

  1. Choose a scenario and review footage or filming conditions.
  2. Assess suitability and errors on agreed video material.
  3. Deploy the agreed scenario and train staff to use the results.

Can we use our existing cameras?

We check connectivity, image quality and the scene itself. Camera information and sample footage are needed. Some tasks require a different angle, lighting or equipment.

How do you validate counts and events?

We first define the counting unit and event rules. We then compare results with manual labels, reviewing missed items, duplicates and false detections separately.

Does a demo show what our project will achieve?

A demo illustrates a scenario. Suitability, quality and limitations must be tested on your site footage. Functions and how the results will be used are agreed within the project.
